Life Outside the Firm:
On a personal note – April is married to the man of her dreams, Sean and has three beautiful daughters – Maya, Jill and Alison, a precious grandson, Oliver and a sweet fur baby, Abby. In her spare-time you can find her watching the Green Bay Packers, any sports team from Arizona except the Sun Devils, hiking Red Rocks Open Space, trying new restaurants with Sean or loading up the Jeep and taking a ride up Tin Cup Pass, stopping in St. Elmo to feed the chipmunks and taking a long soak in hot springs afterwards.

Biography:
April’s career has primarily been in Administrative and Project Management. She was part of the AriZona Transportation Engineering Contract (AZTEC) program for Maricopa County Department of Transportation in 1997 and worked with the team of engineers that developed the use of recycled tires in the asphalt used to pave the surface streets and highways. During her time at Florence Crittenton, she worked on first annual Teaming Up For Kids Luncheon in conjunction with Celebrity Fight Night to help raise money for girls in need. She assisted in coordinating many flights and hotel reservations for teams, staff and company leadership and helped grow the game by working the USA Volleyball booth at local events. She also assisted with changing the format of the USA Volleyball Hall of Fame presented at the Boyce Banquet from an in-person event to a virtual event due to COVID-19 restrictions. The honorees make videos of their acceptance speeches following a video and photo montage of the honoree’s accomplishments and contributions to the sport of Volleyball. In 2020, her position was eliminated due to COVID-19 cutbacks, and she found herself looking for a new career path. After a few months of searching the perfect opportunity found its way to her. On March 1, 2021, She joined the Business Law Group family and has never been happier.
